Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including flatbed lorries and vans. A background in warehouse operations and mechanical knowledge will be advantageous.

Duties

Safely operate vehicles, including flatbed lorries and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding inventory levels and delivery schedules.
Assist with basic mechanical tasks as needed, utilising mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with vehicles.
Collaborate with team members in the warehouse to optimise loading processes and improve overall efficiency.
