Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Event and Sales Operations Executives to oversee the coordination and execution of events, primarily on weekends, with responsibilities in the office on weekdays or non-event days. This role is a 5-day work week, including Saturday and Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning and Coordination
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential events for company participation, evaluating suitability and potential impact on brand visibility and sales.
Event Liaison: Engage with event organisers to secure participation, understand requirements, negotiate terms, and coordinate all necessary arrangements.
Event Execution: Oversee end-to-end event logistics, including:Hiring, training, supervise and managing promoters for event days and retail markets.
Ensuring timely set-up of booths, displays, and promotional materials.
Managing on-site operations, including supervising promoters and engaging with customers to drive sales.
Coordinating dismantling at the end of each event.
Actively engage in on-site sales, encouraging promoters to meet targets and ensuring positive customer experiences.
Post-Event Reporting: Compile and present post-event reports detailing event performance, sales outcomes, and key learnings, providing actionable insights for future events.
2. Promoter Management and Training
Promoter Recruitment: Support the recruitment process by sourcing and selecting suitable promoters for upcoming events.
Promoter Kit Management: Organize, prepare, and manage promotional materials and kits required for events, ensuring all items are available, properly branded, and in excellent condition.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver promoter training programs to ensure promoters are well-versed in brand standards, product knowledge, and effective sales techniques.
3. Retail Outlet Set Up
Plan and execute the layout of sales floors and product displays to optimize space
Oversee the receipt, storage, and organization of stock.
Ensure the store is adequately stocked with the right products to meet customer demands and seasonal trends.
4. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support overall business objectives and adapt to changing priorities or event requirements.
Work Environment:
This role typically requires working in various locations where events are held, such as retail stores, shopping malls, and outdoor venues.
Working day: Thursday - Monday
Off Day: Tuesday and Wednesday
Working time: 45 - 50hr per week / 9am - 6pm
Job Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional extended hours during events.
Proven experience in promotional work, event management, or a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with event organizers, customers, and promoters.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills to handle event and promoter management responsibilities.
Proven experience in event management or a similar role is preferred.
High school diploma required; further education in marketing, business administration, or related field is preferred.
Possess Own transport.
