Job Description

-Work with management to develop business cases and investment proposals for new projects and business opportunities. -Develop financial models for new projects or investments to assess feasibility and potential returns and to enable management to present them to bankers for financing purposes. -Perform monthly Group FPandA and understand the departments’ financial requirements and objectives to provide insights that enhance financial performance. -Oversee the consolidated financial accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with MFRS and listing requirements. -Examine business plans, review planning assumptions, and provide recommendations to management for addressing any arising issues. -Provide management and business units with clear and concise recommendations grounded in thorough financial analyses and evaluations. -Analyse new investment and business opportunities through valuation models aimed at maximising returns while minimising risks. -Evaluate cross-company activities to identify opportunities for efficiency improvement based on best practices. -Analyse the organisation’s daily cash position and suggest optimal investment strategies for available funds. -Analyse, interpret, and present financial information to effectively support business operations and strategic planning. -Perform any ad-hoc analysis, research, financial reports, and progress reports for senior management as needed. [Apply now at https://my.hiredly.com/jobs/jobs-malaysia-ock-setia-engineering-sdn-bhd-job-corporate-finance-assistant-manager] ; Requirements:- -Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy or Professional Degree or equivalent. -Minimum of 7 years of working experience in the related field. -Familiar with listing requirements and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS). -Knowledge of IFRS / Accounting standards.  -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision. -Strong excel spreadsheet skills and hand-on experience with accounting software. -Ability to establish priorities, work within tight deadlines, and multitask. -Good communication, proactive, independent, and detail-oriented.
