Job Description

Reports To: CEO and HQ

Job Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of Ambassadors, Associates, and Retailers in the heated tobacco market. This individual will develop and execute strategic sales plans to ensure market penetration, retail expansion, and sustained brand awareness. The ideal candidate will be an effective leader with experience in the tobacco, heated tobacco, or FMCG industries, skilled at managing multiple stakeholders while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive product placement and growth across retail outlets.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for sales improvement.

Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of Ambassadors and Associates to ensure consistent Brand representation.
Provide training, coaching, and performance management for the team, ensuring all are aligned with company goals and regulatory standards.

Retailer Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers to secure product listings and prime shelf placement.
Negotiate contracts, promotional opportunities, and pricing agreements with retail partners.
Ensure retailers are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and support materials to promote our brand effectively.

Ambassador Program:
Oversee the recruitment, training, and deployment of Ambassadors to represent our brand at events, retail outlets, and consumer interactions.
Develop performance metrics and evaluate the success of ambassador activities to enhance visibility and sales performance.

Sales Performance & Reporting:
Set sales targets and track performance to ensure objectives are met or exceeded.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure availability across retail partners.

Compliance:
Ensure all sales, marketing, and promotional activities are compliant with local and national regulations governing the sale of tobacco and heated tobacco products.

Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting the heated tobacco market and adapt strategies accordingly.

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the tobacco, heated tobacco, or FMCG industry.
Proven leadership experience managing teams, including brand ambassadors and sales associates.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with experience in retail management.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of tobacco industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience launching or managing a new product line.
Familiarity with the heated tobacco category.
Established network within retail or tobacco distribution channels.
