MALAYSIAN GLOBAL INNOVATION & CREATIVITY CENTRE (MAGIC)

MaGIC discovers and empowers technology startups and social innovators through creativity, innovation and technology adoption, and develops a vibrant and sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem in Malaysia. Since its inception in 2014, MaGIC has provided its community of start-ups, investors and ecosystem players with capacity building programmes, market & funding opportunities and regulatory assistance that impacted more than 100,000 aspiring and seasoned entrepreneurs with an overall value creation of RM1.9 billion. As an agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), MaGIC facilitates, navigates and enables the ecosystem with the mission of strengthening Malaysia’s position as an emerging innovation nation.

Montfort Youth Centre

Montfort Youth Centre is a fully residential institution and caters for youths from 16 to 21 years old.  It offers a 2-year programme for youths where they are given the opportunity to be trained in vocational skills and character formation to become better contributing citizens for the nation and to maximize their potential. Montfort Youth Centre provides: - 1. Residential care to orphans and youths from poor and underprivileged families; 2. Social work and counseling services to youths under the institution’s care; and 3. General education and training in industrial skills to youths and prepare them for gainful employment.

Care2Run c/o Wildpac Asia PLT

In 2015, with a vision to give back and make a difference, our group of big-hearted recreational runners of various professions explored, researched and piloted an eight-week one-on-one sports mentoring programme for youths from low socioeconomic households and welfare homes. This marked the birth of Care2Run. In 2016, we accepted the invitation to roll out our signature one-on-one sports mentoring programme for differently abled children and youths. These young people became our catalyst for growth. Fast forward to today: Care2Run continues to grow its evidence-based and field-tested programmes, validated across Japan, United States, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, and Malaysia of course! Care2Run’s passion continues to flow to keep young people active and socially engaged with dynamic fun games and sports. Care2Run participants continue to glow in a safe and inclusive community of friends, families, energetic coaches supported by role model volunteers. During Pandemic, The Xtraordinary Digital School (The XD School) was born. As no one was able to go outside. We introduced this school as a form of reaching out to everyone, with lots of programs for our students to explore with a mix of the digital world. (Currently active)

UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) works in over 190 countries and territories to save children's lives, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfil their potential from early childhood through adolescence. At UNICEF Malaysia's in-house fundraising team (via a recruitment agency), our fundraisers are committed, passionate and proud of what we do. Promoting the rights of every child isn't just a job - it's a calling.
