Folks DFK & Co ("Folks") and Azman, Wong, Salleh & Co ("AWS") merged in 2006 to form a joint practice under a common partnership. Folks was established in 1952 under its former name of Yeo Yong Poh & Co while AWS was established in 1964.

Both Folks and AWS are member firms of DFK International. DFK International is a Top 10 international association of independent accounting, tax and business advisory firms that has been meeting the needs of clients with interestes in more than one country for over 50 years. The association has over 400 offices across the world.
