RESPONSIBILITIES : -Responding to incoming support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system -Documenting and tracking issues and resolutions in a ticketing system -Escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams or specialists -Installing, configuring, and updating software and hardware systems -Conducting basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks on computer systems -Providing basic training and support for software applications and operating systems -Maintaining accurate records of technical support activities and interactions with users. Some employers may consider candidates with relevant certifications or technical training programs. -Technical Skills: Candidates should have a solid understanding of computer hardware and software, operating systems, and networking fundamentals. Experience with common software applications and tools such as Microsoft Office, email clients, server configuration, network and remote access tools is also essential. -Communication Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills are critical for this role as 1st level system support involves regular interactions with end-users. Candidates should be able to communicate technical information in an understandable manner to non-technical users. -Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and identify solutions is essential for 1st level system support roles. -Attention to Detail: Candidates should have a strong attention to detail and be able to document and track technical support requests and resolutions accurately. -Multitasking Abilities: Candidates should be able to handle multiple support requests simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. In addition to these qualifications, -Proficiency in both written and spoken language : English (Primary), Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin. -Required skill(s) : Microsoft .NET product. -Willingness to travel to customer site when required. -Willing to work overtime or weekend if require. Able to work independently with less guidance.
