Coordinate with departments: Gather requests from other departments for supplies, equipment, and raw materials
Research vendors: Find vendors that offer the best prices
Prepare purchase orders: Submit purchase orders to the distribution center
Process invoices: Handle the invoicing process and reconcile invoices
Track orders: Monitor stock levels and ensure orders are delivered on time
Update databases: Keep internal databases up to date with order details
Communicate with vendors: Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure orders are fulfilled
Negotiate prices: Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
Prepare cost analyses: Create cost analyses for purchasing decisions
Prepare Payment Request to Finance department.
Maintain records: Keep records of invoices, contracts, and other important documents
